Your Guide to Espresso Coffee Machines

Basically, there are three kinds of espresso coffee machines that are available on the market today – the manual, the semi-automatic and the super or full automatic espresso machine.

The Manual Type. This type of espresso machine is used to brew a lovely cup of espresso coffee. You need to add water and coffee and control the frother manually especially if you are making lattes or cappuccinos.  Click Here for more details and a great deal!

The Semi Automatic Type. With this type, the process starts by turning on the machine and pressing the button. Once you have done making the espresso, you need to manually turn it off. In addition, you need to make sure that the water reservoir is filled, and there are enough coffee beans inside the grinder.

The Super Automatic Type. The super automatic espresso machine produces delicious espresso without the need of doing anything in the whole process. These espresso coffee machines have a fully integrated water system and a coffee grinder. All you have to do is to turn it on and watch as the machine makes you a cup of espresso. Once the espresso is made and the beans are grounded, they will be automatically ejected and put in an internal bin that you can remove later on.

Common features of espresso coffee machines

The features of espresso coffee machines differ from one model to another. If you are planning to purchase one, consider the features of each model in order to determine which product best suits your requirements.

* Bean grinder. Most higher end espresso coffee machines come with a built-in bean grinder for every single cup, which produces a more flavorful cup of coffee.

*  Milk frother. You need a frother for making latte and cappuccino. Most of the time, this is an independent milk chamber or a frothing wand.

*  Water filter. Some models come with a built in water filter (carbon filters) that eliminates contaminants from the water before the brewing process.

*  Pod compatible. These are small packets with ground beans in a filter element, which are pre-measured for one cup. All you need to do is to place the pod in the machine and start brewing.

*  Cup warmer. This helps keep the cup warm before you brew your coffee, which results to a hotter and better drink.

*  Hot water dispenser. You can find some models with a valve that is used for providing hot water. If you love making espresso cappuccino, hot chocolate or tea, this is a great feature to look for.

In order to purchase the best espresso coffee machine, it is important to know your needs. It is not a good idea to purchase a high quality coffee grinder of a coffee roaster because if you think about it, when you add a little more amount, you’ll be able to purchase a semi-automatic espresso machine. You can purchase the manual type at four hundred dollars while a super automatic starts at seven hundred dollars.
